Bio
Andrea Wells is a self-taught artist based in Auburn, Alabama, where she lives with her husband and their four children. A lifelong Auburn fan and graduate of Auburn University, Andrea returned home after several years in Baton Rouge while her husband completed his Ph.D. Today, they’re grateful to call Auburn home, where they’re deeply rooted in the community.
Andrea works in oil, acrylic, charcoal, and mixed media, creating expressive florals and still lifes that celebrate color, texture, and the beauty of everyday life. When she’s not in the studio, you’ll likely find her chasing after four kids, at one of her children's sporting events, or finding inspiration in the ordinary moments that often go unnoticed.
Inspired by interiors and the objects that make a house feel like home, Andrea believes beauty doesn’t have to be perfect to be meaningful. Through loose brushwork, layered textures, and joyful color, she hopes her paintings invite people to slow down and appreciate the everyday.
“I hope my work feels like a little reminder to notice the beauty that’s already around us. The flowers on the kitchen counter, the light through the windows, the bowl of fruit you’ve walked past a hundred times, those ordinary moments are often the ones that make a house feel like home.” - Andrea
